Strut Health vs Mint Med
Two GLP-1 deals, scored on the same six factors. Strut Health lands a Value Score of 85, Mint Med a 87. Here's what each one really costs past month one — and where each one bites back.

Save ~70% vs brand self-payThe verdict
Mint Med takes it on Value Score, 87 to 85 — an est. $106/mo (all doses) first month, with no teaser step-up baked in. Strut Health isn't out of it: Shoppers comfortable managing an auto-refill online who want to discuss injectable and needle-free compounded options with a clinician. I would give Strut more consideration for its account controls and included follow-ups than for an oral price that its own pages do not consistently display.

Strut Health
Strut offers semaglutide injections at $129 a month and tirzepatide injections from $149 on auto-refill. Its needle-free options broaden the menu, but conflicting semaglutide lozenge prices need confirmation before purchase.
What's good
- Strut includes physician visits, follow-up care and shipping on the GLP-1 product pages. A low medication figure is more useful when these services are included, although the product disclaimer still says final pricing follows consultation and prescription approval.
- Strut provides weekly injections and daily oral compounded options for both molecules. The semaglutide lozenge dissolves between cheek and gum. That is a distinct route to discuss with the prescriber, rather than assuming every product described as oral is taken the same way.
- Strut’s account lets you change order frequency or cancel, pause and delay a subscription. Those controls are valuable if a clinician changes your treatment plan or you already have enough medication; check the processing deadline before assuming a change will stop the next order.
- Strut says direct physician messaging is available through the account and phone or video communication can be arranged through customer service. An initial prescription may be handled asynchronously in some states, but that does not mean you are limited to a questionnaire for all follow-up care.
- Strut publishes a clear replacement route for damaged or defective items: contact it within two weeks of delivery. This is separate from changing your mind about treatment, and the distinction helps set realistic expectations about what support can resolve after shipment.
The fine print
- Strut’s lowest displayed figures require auto-refill. Its advertised savings percentages describe discounts from a different purchase option; they do not mean a one-off order costs exactly that same percentage more. Request the actual one-time total if you do not want a subscription.
- The $99 versus $199 semaglutide lozenge discrepancy is unresolved across Strut’s public pages. I would save the written quote for the specific formulation and supply before paying. A cheaper advertised oral route should not decide which treatment is appropriate for you.
- Strut requires 48 hours’ cancellation notice before processing. Its refund policy rules out refunds after the pharmacy has processed the order, even if delivery has not happened yet. Canceling future refills does not reverse an order already in progress.
- Strut is a cash-pay service and says it does not complete insurance prior authorizations or medical-necessity forms for reimbursement. It can supply prescription information and receipts, but an HSA or FSA card may still be rejected by the card issuer.
- Strut’s FAQ excludes Arkansas and cautions that individual medications may have further state restrictions. Confirm the route as well as your state. Its compounded products are not FDA-approved, and the FDA issued Strut Health a warning letter in February 2026, disclosed separately on this review.
Mint Med
One price at every semaglutide dose, $106 a month, with the seller stating plainly that there are no membership fees - which is rarer than it should be at this end of the market.
Why it's a deal
- Semaglutide is $106 at every dose, so titrating up does not raise the bill
- States in its own banner that there are no membership fees
- Prices are confirmed in the store's own catalog, not just the marketing page
- HSA and FSA eligible, with a phone number published for support
The fine print
- Tirzepatide is sold as two separate products at $145 and $179, so which one applies depends on the dose you are prescribed
- FDA issued a warning letter to Glow Medispa, LLC dba Mint Med, dated June 2026. It is public in the FDA warning-letter database and linked from this review so you can read it yourself
- Sells NAD+, sermorelin and sexual-wellness lines beside the GLP-1s
- Compounded only, with no brand-name option
- No oral or sublingual route
