Privacy policy

GLP-1 Savers is a small, reader-supported deals site, and we like to keep our data practices as lean as our prices. We don't ask you to make an account, we don't run our own tracking network, and nothing about your visit is sold. This page walks through the little we do collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control. The rules that govern using the site itself — including what we do and don't promise about third-party programs — are in the terms of use, and the commercial relationships behind our links are itemised in the disclosure.

The one thing we measure

To understand which price guides and comparisons people actually find useful, we use Google Analytics 4. When you allow it, Analytics records anonymized usage signals — the pages you open, the rough region your visit comes from (estimated from your IP address, which we don't store), the kind of device and browser you're on, and the site that referred you. It tells us that a page was popular; it doesn't tell us who you are.

Off until you say yes

We run Google Consent Mode v2, and it starts in the off position. Analytics and advertising storage are both denied by default, which means no analytics cookies are placed and no measurement happens until you accept through our cookie banner. If you'd rather not, simply decline — the denied setting stays in place and you can keep browsing every deal exactly the same way.

Cookies and local storage

Your choice on the banner is remembered right in your own browser, saved under a cookie-consent entry in local storage, so we don't have to ask again on every page. If you accept analytics, Google then sets its own measurement cookies. That's the whole list — there are no advertising cookies or hidden trackers layered underneath.

How we use what we see

The aggregated numbers help us decide which programs to price-check next, spot broken pages, and see whether a new savings guide is landing. We look at trends, not individuals, and we never try to piece the data back together into a profile of you.

We don't sell your data

GLP-1 Savers does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — full stop. The only third party that touches analytics data is Google, acting as our measurement provider, and its handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy terms. We don't hand your information to advertisers or data brokers.

Your choices

You're in the driver's seat. You can decline analytics from the start, or change your mind later — to reset the banner and be asked fresh, clear this site's data in your browser (or remove the cookie-consent entry) and reload. Because we don't keep an identifiable record of you, requests to access or delete personal data mostly come down to clearing what lives in your own browser; if you have a specific request, email us and we'll help however we can.

Not for children

This site is meant for adults and covers prescription weight-management care, so it isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and certainly not from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, let us know and we'll remove it.

How long we keep things

The anonymized analytics data is retained only as long as it's useful for understanding site trends, within Google Analytics' standard retention windows, after which it ages out automatically. Your consent preference stays in your browser until you clear it yourself.

Keeping it secure

The site is served over encrypted connections, and because we collect so little in the first place, there's very little about you sitting anywhere to be at risk. No website can promise perfect security, but keeping our data footprint small is one of the best protections we can offer.

Updates to this policy

If our practices change, we'll revise this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use GLP-1 Savers after a change means the current version applies to you.
